growth

today was a hair day here.  we had done corn rows and a bazillion box braids while at grama's with hundreds of beads for the start of school (if anyone has pictures, let me know!) -  the flair and pizzazz finally got old, fuzzy and a bit dull.  today we went back to an old favorite.  it just so happens that it's the same basic style i attempted with sousi on my first corn row attempt. . . .look at how much sugargirl's hair has grown!  the first picture was taken day of April2010.  the second was taken today (day of).

if you can see, in the first picture she's just got this teeny tiny little fluff, like a felt circle for a pony tail - today, well what can i say. . . .WOW!  look at that growth! (the white spots are just some curl definer that when dries won't show) and i will humbly comment that i think my corn row skills have improved a bit too!
